WEEKLY BULLETIN & PROJECT DATABASE:
The weekly bulletin & project database gives information on the projects that we have on file at the Exchange. The weekly bulletin gives a listing of our projects as well as project location, issuing office, addenda received and prime contractors bidding on the projects. Our project database can be found in the member services area of our website. The information supplied in our projects database will be updated on a daily basis and will have more current information. Also included in our weekly bulletin and website is legal information such as Mechanic's Liens filed & released, Notice of Completions, Declaration of Homestead, Building Permits for City of Modesto and Stanislaus Co. Our bulletin & website also offers Safety Tip pages to help assist you with your weekly safety meeting programs.
PLAN ROOM:
Members have access to the plans and specifications on file here in our plan room. The plans & specs are available for use during regular business hours and may be checked out for overnight and weekend use, to be returned the next business day before 8:30 a.m.
INSURANCE PROGRAMS:
Membership in Valley Builders Exchange allows members to participate in a great Group Workers Compensation program. Participants must meet the criteria set forth by the group. Contact the Exchange for further information
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Other benefits of Exchange membership include blue print copy services, seminars, membership lists, numerous forms used in the construction industry, advertising privileges, social events, amusement park discount cards, an annual golf tournament, scholarship programs and credit union membership. There may be a slight charge for some of these services.
Online Plan Service:
A great service that we provide is the Online Plan Service. With this great new program, you can actually view projects 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your own computer. Currently, there is no additional fee involved for this service.
Online Safety University:
VBE is dedicated to finding resources for you, our member, to enable your business to operate at maximum efficiency and profit. So, the Online University was created. Now, with Online University, you and your employees can take advantage of the excellent safety training available online from the comfort and convenience of your office -wherever and whenever you are ready or the need arises. The University was developed with Click Safety and Golden State Builders Exchange, to which VBE is a member . Fees associated with this program are paid directly to Click Safety.
LEGISLATION:
As an active member of the Golden State Builders Exchange, we keep our members apprised of legislation affecting the construction industry. The GSBE monitors & takes positions on state legislation affecting the construction industry.
